The Jetty Scaffolding Project: Overcoming Environmental & Safety Challenges with 3D Design

Overview

The Jetty is a popular public fishing area located in a marine park environment, which required structural concrete repairs. However, the project faced several challenges due to the presence of dangerous marine life, short timelines, and restrictions on any work in the water.

To overcome these challenges, the project team used ScaffPlan for the scaffold planning and design to identify issues and devise solutions with precision.

Solution

Lessons Learned

This project demonstrated the benefits of using 3D design with leading scaffold software. By using 3D modeling, the project team could accurately identify and solve potential issues while maintaining safety standards. Furthermore, the project highlighted the importance of considering environmental factors when planning scaffolding projects.
